Upcoming talks on the Mobile Web Best Practices

Filed under:

I will be presenting the Mobile Web Best Practices twice in the upcoming few days:

  • during the MWI Seminar in Paris on November 16; I’ll have 20 minutes to give an overview of the principles behind the Best Practices, and where we’re headed with mobileOK
  • next Monday at 11am CET, I’ll be presenting my first webinar on the Mobile Web Best Practices during an hour-long talk, broadcasted both on the Web and on the phone; although I have already made several presentations on the phone, this will certainly be the one with the most diverse and largest audience I’ve ever had to prepare… Interesting times ahead!

A new Planet is born

Filed under:

In the vast cyberspace of the Web galaxy, a new Planet is born: Planet Mobile Web weighs 20 blog feeds (and growing), seems to be pretty active already, and hopefully has a bright future before her.

I’m pretty excited this has come to fruition; I think it will be a useful service for the mobile Web community, and I know at least that it has already allowed me to discover a number of interesting blogs I didn’t know about, blogs which themselves have pointed me to topics, sites and services that were off the map for me.

Making this blog mobile friendly

As I quickly noted when I got my Treo 650 PDA, this very blog didn’t look quite good when used on the Web browser included with it (Blazer v4).

Eigth months later, and with the Mobile Web Best Practices now in implementation feedback phase, I thought it was time that I applied the very principles I had contributed to develop to this blog (powered by WordPress).
